Exit 11 Performing Arts Company

Exit 11 Performing Arts Company is a cross-border performing arts company committed to interrogating political and economic asymmetries through the rigorous engagement of artistic practice across multiple disciplines, including but not limited to live theater, dance, performance art, installations, and written work.

The Company

Exit 11 Performing Arts Company was created as a space for artists of all disciplines to collaborate in, and give support for, the pursuit of artistic practice. We strive to develop rigorous new work of exceptional quality that interrogates capitalism, nationalism, and discrimination in the Anthropocene. We are committed to investigating local and global issues while remaining reflective of our own histories and biases. We make work that confronts and comforts, that reflects and reasons, and that engages our community in both the physical and digital spaces. We maintain a space that embraces humanity in its fullest form with a specific focus on ensuring strong representation for women and people of color. Our work is not apathetic but is vulnerable in all its joy, sadness, and rage. We make our art for the future, for our communities, and for each other.
