Exit 11 Performing Arts Company presents a modern adaptation of Euripides’ timeless tragedy set in contemporary Taiwan. Through this enthralling exploration of passion, betrayal, and the relentless pursuit of vengeance, Exit 11 invites the audience on a journey into the depths of the human psyche.
Immerse yourself in the tale of one of Western theater’s most infamous feminist figures in this original adaptation, which seeks to bridge the parallels between Western and Chinese culture. Through a fusion of Chinese and English language, physical theater, and evocative performance, our ensemble brings to life the tumultuous tale of Medea, a woman scorned by her husband Jason’s betrayal.
Witness her descent into madness and the catastrophic consequences of her actions as she seeks retribution against those who have wronged her. Enter a world where love transforms into hatred and the boundaries of morality are tested to their limits. Consider the place of migrants and women in society and question who the true heroes and villains are in this gripping narrative from Taipei’s newest bilingual performing arts company.

在這部原創改編中，鉴赏西方戲劇文化裡最著名的女權主義舞台劇。該作品旨在探索西方文化和中國神話之間的交點。通過中英語和肢體劇場的融合，我們的團隊將激發出米蒂亞的動盪與她丈夫傑森的背叛。

Taipei Fringe Festival
Medea premiered at Bopiliao Lane 173, Kangding Rd. No. 21 and 23 with five performances from August 24 — 28 as part of Taipei Fringe Festival 2024.
米蒂亞已於2024年臺北藝穗節期間，在剝皮寮康定路173巷21號及23號首演，並於8月24日至28日共演出五場。
Casting and Auditions
Exit 11 is currently casting for up to four performance roles.
Actors must be comfortable rehearsing and performing both in Chinese and English; however, casting is gender- and race-blind. The production will involve some devised text and movement work.
Actors must be available for all production dates (see above) and the tech rehearsal on August 22 from 6pm–10pm, and should expect to commit an average of 10 hours a week of rehearsal from mid-June. Schedules will be arranged according to the team’s availability, with most rehearsals held on weekday evenings and/or weekends.
Actors will be compensated on a profit-sharing model with a guaranteed minimum of NT$4,000. This means that actors will be paid at least the minimum, and any additional revenue after production expenses will be split equitably amongst the team.

演員必須出席各表演和技術排演。
技術排演在8月22號，從6點至10點。從6月15日開始，排演在每個星期內進行10小時。時間表是以劇團決定，但排演主要在星期一至五傍晚，和星期六與日進行。
表演費將以利潤分享模式：即同等分發。演員獎被支付至少 NT$4,000。
