Viewpoints Workshops

GRIT
GRIT is Exit 11’s playwriting program for emerging writers wanting to share untold stories. It serves as a platform to amplify traditionally marginalized voices, including the global majority, LGBTQIA+ communities, immigrants and descendants of immigrants, women, and the working class. GRIT seeks to discover stories that explore courage and resolve, how larger sociopolitical forces seep into the fleeting moments of everyday life, and the choices we make to resist them.
Virtual Collaborative Program for Emerging Artists
The Virtual Collaborative program for Emerging Artsits (VICE) is part of Exit 11’s mission to elevate diverse voices and emerging artists through collaborative, interdisciplinary art. VICE is a 10-week virtual residency that groups artists from around the world in a virtual collaboration to partake in workshops and create a new piece of work, fostering intercultural dialogue and artistic development. The 2022 program was conducted under the theme Peripheries.
